Lou Herrick, our parishioner, passed away on July 22. His funeral was held here at St. Luke on Friday, July 29. Rick Holtz, brother of Lorraine Lee, passed away in Venice, California on July 25. May they rest in peace.
June-September: American Flag Collection for Retirement Ceremony. Please bring any worn-out American flags to church and put in the Knights collection box.
Fr. Kenneth Tietjen, OCSO, uncle of parishioner Lin Hale, passed away on July 13. Lou Herrick passed away on July 21. He and his wife, Dorothy, are parishioners here at St. Luke. His funeral Mass will be held here on Friday, July 29. May they rest in peace.
God’s Pantry food bank is located at St. Luke Methodist Church in Lexington and is our partner in the Lenten 40 Cans in 40 Days Food Drive. We have an opportunity to help them feed those families in need by bringing canned goods to our Masses this weekend.
CCD Classes—Religious education classes for our elementary students will begin in September. Class times will be published later. Registration for the classes will take place next weekend, July 23/24, in the parish hall after all four Masses. Join us for breakfast after the Sunday morning Masses next weekend and enroll your student(s).
