Ministry Fair October 4th & 5th. After the 4:30 p.m. Saturday vigil Mass and the Sunday morning Masses, representatives from our various groups and ministries will be available in the Parish Hall to provide information and answer any questions you may have. Take a moment to explore the possibilities. -
Win-Winshare your harvest with those in need
Got extra produce? Share your harvest with those in need. St. Luke is proud to host one of the drop-off sites for the WiN-WiN (Waste Not Want Not) program, which collects surplus fruits and vegetables from farmers, home gardeners, and community members to help feed families right here in Jessamine County.
We’ll collect produce every Tuesday from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM,
April 26 through October 27th.How to help:
Pick an extra row when planting your garden
Harvest extra fruits or veggies from your farm or backyard
Drop off edible produce every Tuesday, 7am–8pm right here at St. Luke
Other drop-off locations and times are available too
Your donation helps reduce waste and nourish our neighbors. We also have opportunities to get involved as a volunteer to help us transport the donated produce to our community partners.

Seek to Serve?Women's Group needs your helpWe especially need volunteers for the first Sunday each month to help with “Coffee & Donuts” after the morning masses.If you can help one or two months per year, please contact Kim Binzer or Kathy Montgomery.

Care to Cook?Opportunities to volunteer are here
Helping to cook for the many parish events and activities at St. Luke include:
- Bereavement Meals (as needed)
- New Member Welcome Dinners (quarterly)
- First Communion Receptions (yearly)
- Confirmation Receptions (as needed)
- Parish Picnic (annually)
- Diocesan/Deanery Events hosted by St. Luke
- Special Celebrations as requested by Fr. Aldrin
The St. Luke Women’s Group is happy to coordinate such parish events, but Fr. Aldrin has suggested that we have a roster of volunteers (men and women) who enjoy cooking for others and want to share that talent. All expenses for food preparation will be reimbursed. If you would like to be part of this ministry, please call Deborah at the parish office and give her your name, phone number, and email address and someone will contact you regarding your interest.

Volunteers Needed!
We are in need of volunteers to help with livestreaming ministry on Sunday mornings at the 10:00 am Mass. No need to be a technology expert. Our livestream goes out to the sick and homebound; providing them with a way of staying connected to their home parish. Signing up for even one Sunday a month would be such a help! Contact Paul Mazur, 859-396-5305, if you are interested or have any questions.

Volunteer Opportunity
Volunteer Needed. We are looking for a volunteer to help coordinate/oversee our Altar Servers. Duties would include encouraging/recruiting new servers, helping to develop a training and servers manual, training new and current servers, scheduling servers for weekend and special liturgical celebrations, and working with the Liturgy Committee to ensure there are no gaps in coverage. Please note this role requires the completion of a diocesan ‘safe environment’ on-line training course. If you would enjoy helping to shape our young people for a love of the liturgy and service in the Church, this is the role for you! Please see Dcn. Gary or Dcn. David for information.
