Happy New Year!  A new website will launch on January 15, 2026. Our current address, www.stlukenicholasville.org, will remain the same, and you will automatically be redirected to the new site. OSV, Our Sunday Visitor, is our new hosting provider, which adds a few unique features to our site.

• This web service integrates fully with our existing data system, also provided by OSV. 
• The new platform allows for Spanish Language Translation for our Hispanic community.
• If you need additional languages added, just let us know. We can do that!
• The adjustment keeps our annual expenses at a minimum for the foreseeable future.

This day commemorates the Baptism of Jesus in the Jordan River by St. John the Baptist. On this occasion, Jesus entered into His ministry and acquired His first disciples; St. John proclaimed Christ the Lamb of God, whose way he had prepared; and the Triune nature of the Godhead was manifested. 
Now, when all the people were baptized, and when Jesus also had been baptized and was praying, the heaven was opened, and the Holy Spirit descended upon him in bodily form, as a dove, and a voice came from heaven, “Thou art my beloved Son; with thee I am well pleased.”
