The 16th Annual Prayer Vigil for Life is this Sunday, January 30! Faith United Community Church, 3080 Brannon Road in Nicholasville--behind the Cracker Barrel--will host. The vigil will be held inside the Gymnasium, starting at 2 pm. Right to Life of Central Kentucky invites you to this opportunity for the Prolife community to gather in solemn recognition of the 49th anniversary of Roe vs. Wade. We will pray specifically for the end of the legalized killing of innocent babies in Kentucky and the closing of both abortion facilities. The prayer vigil is free and open to the public. A Hot Chocolate and Cookie Social will follow immediately afterwards

Please pray for the soul of Gayle Ross Banks, who passed away on January 14. Her father was our first Deacon here at St. Luke’s. Deacon Carter and Jesse Ross were here when Father Schaffer was our pastor.

This will be the 14th year St. Luke’s Respect Life Committee is sponsoring an ad in the Jessamine Journal close to the anniversary date of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision on abortion—January 22, 1973.
