Dear Parishioners, on behalf of Father Bush, Angie, Brian and their family we would like to thank you for the friendship and kindness shown to us and the years you have shared your lives and family with Father Bush. We truly appreciate all the many kindnesses you gave to Father and our family throughout the years, especially since his retirement in 2019. We appreciate the many times you sent him a card, called to talk or check on him or stopped by to bring him his favorite dessert—anything chocolate! He appreciated the priests, deacons and faithful who visited and shared stories with him. He appreciated his “congregation” that attended his Sunday morning Mass that began at 9:27 a.m.— on “Bush Time.”
He was so proud to be at St. Luke’s for thirty years and watch families grow daily in their faith and to be a part of their journey. Thirty years is a long time in anyone’s life, and Father Bush was a constant at St. Luke’s and in Nicholasville and Jessamine County.
May everyone continue to grow daily in their faith by the example that Father Bush taught us. Please continue to keep Fr Bush and our family in your prayers.
