Stephen Edward Disney, 42, son of parishioner Pat Disney, passed away on April 20, 2025, in Edgewood, KY. 

Harry “Hank” James Batts, III, 75, passed away Friiday, April 18, 2025. He was born on September 22, 1949, in Louisville, KY, to the late Harry James Batts, Jr., and Molly Batts. A graduate of Tates Creek High School, Hank spent four years in the United States Navy and retired as a technician at Kentucky Educational Television. He was a devoted member of our parish. After retirement, he spent many hours planting and tending to the trees in the Squire Oak Neighborhood Park. He loved classical music, dogs and cats, and target shooting. He is survived by his wife, Sara “Sally” Young; son Jeff (Anastasiia) Cornelison; grandchildren Haleigh, Ryan, and Trey Cornelison; and two brothers, Daniel Batts and Christopher (Dorothy Cordray) Batts. A Special thanks to the caregivers at Cedarhurst Nicholasville for their devoted care. A memorial mass was held here at St. Luke at noon on Wednesday, April 30th.
